Ranveer Singh Gets Brutally TROLLED For His Beach Look At Arpita Khan’s Eid Party.
May 4, 2022 (New Delhi): B-town’s most powerhouse actor Ranveer Singh is not just known for his outstanding on-screen performances but also for his unique fashion sense. Be it any occasion, the Simmba actor never fails to make heads turn with his quirky and unconventional style. On Tuesday, Ranveer attended Arpita Khan’s star-studded Eid party with his wife Deepika Padukone and the couple made a smashing entry together. Notably, what caught everyone’s attention was Ranveer’s comfy outfit which seemingly looked more appropriate for a beach party.
Ranveer’s choice of outfit for the Eid party miffed some netizens who badly trolled the actor pointing out that it was Eid, not a beach party. In a video shared on a paparazzo’s Instagram account, the 83 actor is seen posing with his wifey Deepika for the media. He looked uber cool in a colourful satin shirt that he teamed with blue denim, pink sneakers, and a hat. His tee exuded beach vibes.
In no time, netizens started trolling Ranveer in the comments section. One commented, “Pagal wagal hai kya ye.. pogo dekhte ho kya RANVEER sir.” Another reacted, “Ranveer Singh has no dressing sense.” One comment read, “Beach party or eid party Ranveer.” One of the netizens wrote, “Koi ranveer ko samaje eid party thi naa ki beach party.”
Deepika Padukone, on the other hand, looked beautiful in a traditional black velvet kurta with velvet dhoti pants. The couple stole the show with their crackling chemistry and cute PDA while posing for the shutterbugs.
Ranveer has been busy with the promotions of his upcoming movie Jayeshbhai Jordaar. Meanwhile, Deepika too has been busy with her international work. Deepika was rumoured to be attending the MET Gala 2022 in the US. However, fans were disappointed to learn that she will not be walking the red carpet of the event. However, Deepika is set to appear at Cannes 2022. Deepika Padukone will be a part of the competition jury at the Cannes Film Festival 2022. French actor Vincent Lindon will be the president of the jury for the 75th edition, which kicks off next month. Lindon, who won the 2015 Best Actor award at Cannes for The Measure of a Man, starred in last year’s Palme d’Or winner ‘Titane’.
Joining him on the jury panel along with Deepika are actor-director Rebecca Hall, Noomi Rapace, and Italian actor-director Jasmine Trinca, as well as directors Asghar Farhadi, Ladj Ly, Jeff Nichols, and Joachim Trier. The jury will pick the winners of this year’s Palme d’Or honours at a gala ceremony in Cannes on May 28.
