Bollywood’s most favourite couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have been hogging all the limelight with their cute and adorable chemistry.
And after months and years of speculation, actor Ranbir Kapoor has now finally confirmed that he would have married Alia if the pandemic hadn’t hit their lives this year.
In an interview with renowned film journalist Ranbir Kapoor opened up about his personal life and reports surrounding his impending wedding. Ranbir said that the wedding deal would have been sealed had the pandemic not hit their lives.
During the lockdown the couple was also living together for quite some time.Talking about the lockdown period Ranbir said that he spent hours watching television shows and movies whereas Alia took every class under the sun.
On being Asked if he took any online classes during the lockdown, he said, “My girlfriend Alia is a bit of an overachiever, and she probably took every class there is — from guitar to screenwriting. I always feel like an underachiever next to her. But no, I didn’t take any classes. Initially, we were dealing with the family crisis, and then I got into reading, spent time with my family, and I watch two-three films every day.”
Speaking about his marriage plans,Ranbir said that though he does not want to ‘jinx’ it by saying but they would have been already married if the COVID-19 pandemic had not ‘hit their lives’. He said, “I don’t want to jinx it by saying anything. I want to tick mark that goal very soon in my life.”
Meanwhile, on the work front Alia and Ranbir are all set to share screen space for the first time in Ayan Mukherji’s Brahmastra. Brahmastra also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Dimple Kapadia.
