Parineeti Chopra’s starrer film ‘The Girl On The Train’ receives mixed responses from the audience.

The eagerly awaited thriller movie, The Girl on the Train released on Friday. The Ribhu Dasgupta directorial is a Hindi Remake of a 2016 Hollywood film featuring Emily Blunt.

The original film was based on Paula Hawkins’s best-selling novel of the same name. The Girl on the Train marks Parineeti Chopra’s digital debut.

The psychological thriller also stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Avinash Tiwary, and Kriti Kulhari. While Parineeti essays the role of Mira Kapoor, Aditi plays the role of Nushrat John.

A psychological thriller with too many arbitrary twists for its good, The Girl On The Train, a Netflix presentation, has a go at the entire gamut – deceit, betrayal, blackmail, murder, vengeance, and a police investigation.

Mira suffers from amnesia and is an alcoholic. Post an unfortunate incident she is trapped in the murder of Nushrat as every piece of evidence are pointed towards her.

The only way out for Mira is to remember what transpired on that fateful night.

In ‘ The Girl on the Train’ Ribhu nicely sets us up for a romantic relationship gone wrong under testing times, but then he falls for the unusual gimmicks of chases and psychologically challenged Characters.
