Archana Puran Singh (born on 26th September 1962) is an Indian actress and television personality. She is known for her comedy roles in Bollywood movies and as a judge on comedy shows like Sony TV India’s The Kapil Sharma Show and Comedy Circus . • She debuted in film industry with movie Abhishek She made her debut with Nari Hira’s TV movie Abhishek opposite of Aditya Pancholi in 1987.Later that year she starred in Jalwa opposite of Nasiruddin Shah .

• Though she restricted herself to supporting roles in her Bollywood career but her some roles such as Miss Braganza of Kuch Kuch Hota hai was one of the favorites and popular roles among audience alongwith many other supporting roles in movies such as Mohobbatien, Krrish ,Masti ,De Dana Dana and Bol Bacchan .

• Her television career
Apart from her filmy career if we talk about her television career then she started as anchor in1993 Zee TV’s show, Wah Kya Scene Ha which was was uncensored later. She also acted in many TV serials such as Shrimaan Shrimati, Junoon, and hosted Archana Talkies with Sony ‘s entertainment television. She also acted in Zee Comedy Show. Currently she is being seen as laughter judge in Kapil Sharma Show.

She won Screen Awards in 1999 for Kuch Kuch Hota Hai for Best Comedian role in the film. She also won the award of Best Comedian Actress of Television in Indian Television Academy Awards held in 2001. She was nominated for best supporting actress for many films such as Raja Hindustani, Mohobbatien and many. more other films also.
