Krishnaraj Rai, Father Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Passed Away

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan‘s father has been in the hospital for the last two weeks. Reportedly, the actress had to cut short her Dubai holiday, to rush back and attend to her father Krishnaraj Rai. The actress was in Dubai with her husband Abhishek Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya Bachchan to bring in 2017. Abhishek who had flown off to New York from Dubai to attend to his work commitments, reportedly rushed back to India, earlier than scheduled, to spend time with his ailing father-in-law.

Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan‘s father Krishnaraj Rai, who was keeping critical for the past few days, passed away, earlier in the day today. Krishnaraj Rai was admitted to Lilavati Hospital.  He had faced similar health problems in January this year and was admitted t+o the same hospital. According to the reports, his condition continued to remain critical.
Aishwarya who was recently seen attending her little daughter Aaradhya’s sports day function at school, has been splitting her time between taking care of her father and attending to mommy duties. It is indeed a very stressful time for Aishwarya and her husband Abhishek, who has constantly been by her side during this difficult time. The couple has been making regular visits at the hospital and last night Aishwarya was seen having a meltdown post visiting her ailing father. Her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan and make-up artist Mickey Contractor, who is known to be very close to the actress, paid a visit to the hospital.
