Jonty Rhodes takes a dip in Holy Ganga, Harbhajan Singh says “next time take me along.”

Former South African cricketer Jonty Rhodes shared a beautiful picture from his visit to Rishikesh for the International Yog Festival as he got the opportunity to take a dip in the holy Ganga river. Indian Cricketer Harbhajan Singh took to twitter and made a request to Rhodes seeing him immerse himself in the Ganges.
Giving a glimpse of his experience from the festival, Rhodes shared a picture of him submerged in the Ganges river in Rishikesh. He captioned the picture: “Benefits of cold water immersion in the Holy Ganges are both physical and spiritual #moksha #rishikesh #internationalyogfestival.”
Harbhajan made a cheeky request to Jonty asking him to take him along the next time while admitting that the South African has seen more India than the Turbanator has.
“You have seen more India than me my friend.. good to see you enjoying and having a dip in holy Ganga next time take me along.” Bhaji Tweeted.


The International Yog Festival 2020 got underway in Rishikesh, Uttrakhand on March 1 and will see its conclusion on March 7. The Former Proteas star arrived in India to participate the same. One can participate in various therapies, including naturopathy, chakra healing, acupressure, etc. as well as different forms of yoga during the one-week-long festival.
After the International Yog festival, Jonty will have a big assignment in India as he prepares to help Kings XI Punjab as a fielding coach for the Indian Premier League 2020 campaign.
It would not be the first stint for the iconic cricketer to find himself a role in the support staff for an IPL franchise. Earlier, Rhodes worked with the Mumbai Indians from 2009 to 2017 and helped them win the IPL three times.
Jonty’s deep connection with India isn’t hidden from any cricket fan. The ex-Proteas star also named his daughter ‘India Jeanne Rhodes ‘ after she was born in 2016.
