Forget about the release, Ranbir and Katrina haven’t even completed shooting for Jagga Jasoos Yet!

The much delayed Jagga Jasoos starring Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif is again likely to get postponed from April 7 to a later date. Now we have some scoop about all the chaos and real reason behind the postponement of the movie.

Sources close to Anurag Basu revealed that both Ranbir and Katrina are yet to shoot few sequences for the film.

“There are 29 songs in the film and not all of them have been shot. The songs will suit the various situations in the movie. A temple set is now being constructed in Film City where a song Antara will be picturised on Ranbir and Katrina at the end of the month. In the film, Ranbir’s character stammers and uses songs to replace dialogue. The production house is yet to announce the new release date.”

There were also reports that Ranbir and Katrina don’t want to shoot their remaining scenes together and Katrina has no interest in promoting ‘Jagga Jasoos’.

The previous release date April 7th now belongs to Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Sarkar 3’, there’s no new date revealed by the makers of the movie but it’s likely won’t be releasing in the first half of 2017. Hopefully before 2017 ends?

The plot of Jagga Jasoos revolves around Ranbir Kapoor’s character ‘Jagga’ who is on the journey to find his father’s killer. Ranbir’s Ex Katrina also has a major role in the movie. Their first movie ‘Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahan’ was liked by many and was a bonafide hit at the box office. Fans are obviously very excited to see their favourite couple again as this will probably be the last film Katrina and Ranbir will be doing together. But is this movie ever going to release?

Anurag Basu’s last film Barfi was a masterpiece and tugged on our heartstrings. Let’s see if he can do it again with ‘Jagga Jasoos’.
