Did Selena admit of being a “Bad Girlfriend” to Justin Bieber in her new song?

We all knew right? Selena Gomez would have the last word in her much-hyped past relationship with Justin Bieber.

According to HollywoodLife, Selena is back in the studio writing a new track titled “Bad Girlfriend.” The “Same Old Love” singer is working with another popular singer Charlie XCX for her next album. In the upcoming track, Selena sings, “I know I’m not there for you or there when you call. I’m a bad girlfriend/I’m a bad girlfriend.”
We can’t help but wonder if it’s aimed at her ex-beau Justin Bieber!

HollywoodLife source revealed that “It’s tongue-in-cheek and Selena and Charli knew exactly who they were writing about.”

The new album will focus on female empowerment and not just about her exes and boyfriend. “Bad Girlfriend” is the only song which deals with her past love life experiences. Selena might be dating The Weeknd now, but it seems like she’s still holding on to some bitterness towards Justin.

“She sings about how a good girlfriend would just carry on and let their boyfriend walk all over them, with their cheating and whatnot, but she’s changed her ways,” the source continued. “It will undoubtedly be tweaked but they were really happy with how the songwriting session went and loved slating their exes.”

Now we just can’t wait to get our hands on her new track!
