Bhoot Police is a 2021 Indian Hindi language horror comedy film directed by Pawan Kirplani produced by Ramesh Turani and Akashai Puri starring Saif Ali Khan, Yami Gautam, Arjun Kapoor and Javed Jaffrey.
The movie’s release date was preponed to 10th September 2021.Here’s what all have to say about this movie:
After ragini MMS, and Phobia Pawan Kirplani came with his new film starring Arjun kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Yami Gautam and Jacqueline Fernandez.
If we talk about movie story then story revolves around two brothers Vibhooti (Saif Ali Khan) and Chiraunji (Arjun Kapoor) who had opposite thinking from each other. Vibhooti (Saif) does not believe in ghosts, but does his job of tantrik by manipulating other people whereas Chiraunji (Arjun Kapoor) is a firm believer in ghosts and thinks that they are one as tantrik who would help people to get rid of evil spirits.
According to critics the story of this movie has no new concept as it followed the same horror comedy concepts followed by movies such as Roohi, Bhul Bhuliya and Laxmi .
The screen play of the movie is very good as it binds up the audience with its entertaining story and the dialogues of the movie are funny and humorous but at certain point of time there are not so good punches in movie .
But if we talk about acting of star cast then Saif Ali Khan and Yami Gautam both rocked with their performance. Arjun Kapoor’s role in movie was controversial as people thought that he would not be able to make people laugh with his acting but he had tried to make people laugh in this movie at some extent. Other actors such as Jamie lever, Late Amit Mistry and Rajpal Yadav had their small comic roles but they acted at their best.
According to some other critics role of Rajpal Yadav was wasted as he appeared on screen 5 mins only as he should have been given some main role.
Overall if we talk about this movie then it is an average one time watch movie with no new concept. If you want to pass your time with some comic horror film then this movie is best for this weekend . According to critics this movie has been rated 3.5 out of 5 stars.
