Asha Negi, the Indian television actress and best known for playing her role of Purvi Deshmukh in Zee TV’s famous show Pavitra Rishta has a very exciting news. Voot announced on Wednesday that she is going to star in Khwabon Ke Parindey, a web show.
Her Character is Bindiya, a free spirit, invites two of her most trustworthy friends to join her on an adventurous and wild road journey from Melbourne to Perth after finishing her post-graduation at the University of Melbourne. Bindiya, Dixit, and Megha use a road trip from Melbourne to Perth to heal old wounds, find love, and confront their toughest fears.
The Voot Original Program will take viewers on a journey of hope, finding life, and serving as each other’s truth serum. The show will premiere on Voot on June 14, 2021 and is directed by Tapasvi Mehta.
Negi expressed her gratitude to the filmmakers for providing her the chance to play such a hard character as Bindiya. She also says that it has been refreshing for her to take a role which is not on television but Web.
Asha says “Khwabon Ke Parindey is a journey of life and hope, but sometimes all you need are close friends to help you rediscover yourself. Bindiya, my character on the show is this complete wild child, who believes in embracing life every single day. When you shoot for a show like this, you tend to relive the moments with your best friends and I did too. However, over a period of time Mrinal, Mansi, Tushar and I got along really well and from being just co-stars we gradually became good friends; making the journey exciting.”
On the work front, Negi made her digital debut with the 2019 series “Baarish,” after appearing in Anurag Basu’s anthology film “Ludo.”
