Ameesha Patel Accused Of ‘Cheating’ By Social Worker, Police Files FIR Against Her.
April 27, 2022 {New Delhi}: There is a ruckus in Madhya Pradesh about actress Ameesha Patel, who received praise for her serious role in a hit film like ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’. In fact, Amisha Patel was called to perform in Star Night organized on the concluding occasion of Navchandi Mahotsav Mela in Khandwa. Ameesha had fixed a fee of about five lakh rupees for this show, but she gave only three minutes of performance in the program. After this the audience created a ruckus. At the same time, the organizers also asked Amisha Patel to perform and she left the program. The people of Khandwa complained about filing a case of fraud against her. After this, Amisha Patel has clarified that her life was in danger, so she could not complete the show. A police officer who was at the location told the media, “The actress reached the stage built on the temple premises at around 9.30 pm and greeted the audience. Ameesha was supposed to perform for one hour, but she left for Indore after giving a performance for only 3 minutes.”
Now, the ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’ actress took to her Twitter and issued a clarification and tweeted that she ‘feared for her life’ at the event. “Attended the Navchandi Mahostav 2022 yesterday 23 rd April in Khandwa city, Madhya Pradesh … v v v v badly organised by Star Flash Entertainment and Mr Arvind Pandey .. I feared for my life but I want to thank the local police for taking care of me v well,” wrote Ameesha.
A fair is held every year at Navchandi Devidham in Khandwa. Due to corona infection, this fair could not be held here for two years. Film actress Ameesha Patel was invited to the Star Night being organized after two years. Event company Star Flash Entertainment had signed a deal of about Rs.5 lakh. But Ameesha Patel stepped off the stage after performing on the song ‘Kaho Na Pyaar Hai’. Her performance was barely 2 to 3 minutes. Angered by this, Sunil Jain, a resident of Khandwa, complained to the City Kotwali police station for registering a case of cheating against Ameesha Patel. It is said that even after reaching Khandwa late via Indore, she could not give time to the program.
Khandwa social worker, Sunil Jain reached Khandwa Kotwali police station on Sunday afternoon, along with his lawyer Devendra Yadav, gave a complaint application to the Kotwali station in-charge at the Kotwali police station. In this, he has demanded to register a case against Ameesha Patel under section 420. At present, Khandwa Kotwali police station in-charge has refused to say anything regarding this whole matter. Kotwali police station in-charge Baljit Singh said that in this entire matter, investigation will be done on the basis of first complaint letter. Only after that any major action will be taken in the matter.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Ameesha will next be seen in Gadar 2 opposite Sunny Deol, it is the sequel to the 2001 blockbuster Gadar. The film was officially announced in October 2021. Helmed by director-producer Anil Sharma, and produced by Zee Studios, the movie is scheduled to release in cinemas in the year 2022.
