Aditya Narayan and wife Shweta Agarwal welcome Baby girl.

Aditya Narayan and his wife Shweta Agarwal have indeed got all the reasons to be on cloud nine. The couple has welcomed their first child, a baby girl. The little girl was born on February 24 at a suburban nursing home in Mumbai. In a recent interview with Bombay Times ‘an elated’ Aditya said that while everyone kept telling him that it would be a baby boy, he secretly wished they would have a baby girl. The ace singer also mentioned that he believes fathers are closest to their daughters, and thus he is beaming with joy as his little one has arrived. 

Recalling the moment when he first held his baby girl in his arms, Aditya was quoted saying, “It was the best feeling of this world. I was with Shweta when she delivered, and I seriously feel that only a woman can show the kind of strength and perseverance to go through this and bring a child into this world. My love and respect for Shweta has doubled now. A woman goes through many things when she delivers a child and even during the pregnancy phase.”

The proud father also said that the musical journey of her little girl has already started with his sister gifting the toddler a small music player, which keeps playing spiritual chants and nursery rhymes.  “I have already started singing songs to her. Music is in her DNA. Her journey of music has begun because it runs in the family. But then, it all depends on what she wants to do when she grows up. Both my grandmothers, my dadi and nani, are extremely excited to see their great-grandchild. I am blessed to have so many women around in the family,” Aditya further added.

Aditya also shared that his father-singer Udit Narayan is beaming with joy and constantly calls the baby angel. He added that initially, he was too scared to pick her in his arms, but after a few days, he placed the baby in his lap, and then he got the confidence to play with her.

Earlier this year, Aditya and Shweta, who tied the knot in December 2020, had announced that they are expecting their first child on social media. The couple had shared the news of their pregnancy by dropping beautiful photos from their baby shower on Instagram.
