“Aa Rahi Hun Main” Vidya Balan Looks Stunning In The Begum Jaan Poster

Vidya Balan released the first poster for her upcoming movie ‘Begum Jaan’ on Tuesday morning. Looking at the poster it seems that Vidya had surely mastered the character pretty well, and indeed looks the “Madam” of the brothel.

Begum Jaan is a Hindi adaptation of Mukherji’s stellar Bengali offering Rajkahini, stars Vidya in the lead, a brothel’s madam in Punjab during India’s partition in 1947. Rituparna Sengupta essayed the lead role in the Bengali version and director Srijit Mukherji’s first choice for the adaptation was Vidya.

The film essay’s the story of survivors as they oppose nations to save their homes. The story is set in the changing lives and the political scenario of the countries during partition. The high voltage drama is a spectacular display of invincible human spirit.

The film is directed by national award winning director Srijeet Mukherjee, it is his debut in Bollywood. The scenes of the film were shot in parts of Delhi and Bihar.
The movie is set to be released on 14th April 2017.
