Lok Sabha Speaker OM Birla’s Younger daughter Cracks UPSC in the first attempt

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Monday recommended about 89 candidates for different civil services from its reserve list drawn based on the 2019 civil service examination.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla’s younger daughter Anjali Birla was also one among those who made it through and now will don the hat of an Indian Administrative Service (IAS ) officer.

As soon as this good news was received at their home, there was an atmosphere of celebration at the Kota Shaktinagar, resident of OM Birla.

The family members and neighbours expressed their happiness over the success of Anjali. Amita Birla, wife of Lok Sabha Speaker OM Birla also expressed happiness over the success achieved by her daughter and said that she was determined to do something different from the beginning itself.

At the same time, Sharad Power’s daughter and NCP MP Supriya Sule also tweeted and congratulated Anjali Birla on her success.

Anjali Birla after clearing Class 12 in Arts stream from Kota’s Sophia School, pursued Political Science (Hons) from Delhi’s Ramjas College. Thereon, she prepared for the civil service examination in the national capital. According to Anjali she used to study 10 to 12 hours daily to prepare for the exam.

Moreover, Anjali Birla had credited her success to elder sister Akansha Birla, who used to do her motions continuously. Anjali after joining the administrative services wants to work in the field of women empowerment.

The result of the 2019 civil service examination was declared on August 4, 2020, recommending 829 candidates in order of merit for appointment to IAS, IFS, IPS, and other Group A and Group B central service against 927 vacancies.
