No Fear No Favour

Don’t Panic: No food shortage in India, the rumor is entirely false.

Late Friday evening, a rumor started doing the rounds on social media that there’s an acute shortage of salt in the market. It also claimed that, as a result, the prices have shot up. A kilogram of salt, which usually sells at Rs 10-17, was being sold for Rs 400-500.

This all turned out to be rumors after minister Ram Vilas Paswan denied all these claims. Minister said they have enough resources, there’s no shortage of anything.

It also revealed that businessmen are doing it only to start havoc in the market so that Government will withdraw their Demonetisation process.

The government’s sudden decision to withdraw Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 currency notes and the shortage of lesser-denomination notes have caused a lot of inconvenience to the people across the country.
