Demonetisation: Beware, Some people are trying hard to exchange their old fake 500,1000 Rs notes!
Ever since Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the Demonetisation of old 500 and 1000 rupees notes, new revelations, and new stories circulates in media houses every single day. From long queues to shocking details about black money, every day we get a scoop of story out of it.
Now the latest reports indicate that some people are trying to exchange the old fake 500 and 1000 rupee notes. Many bank officials have noted that around 4-5% fake notes were found in big transactions. One Bank employee has informed us that most of the times when people came to deposit their money into their accounts mostly two or three notes are fake in it. When asked about it, they said that they didn’t know about it and because of the shortage of new 500 Rs note, they took old 500, 1000 rupee notes from others.
Fraud ones are doing that now, as old notes were only acceptable at Banks and some places people didn’t check the authenticity of the old notes and because banks are the only place where they use those old notes they came to know about the truth of it. It’s better to avoid using old 500 rupees notes and go with cashless or cheque system.
We like our reader to inform that please try to avoid taking old 500 or 1000 rupee notes but if you had no other option then to take old please check its authenticity like you did earlier.
