Looks like Deepika Padukone’s debut red carpet appearance in the West did not go as well as expected.

The 30-year-old Bollywood Diva, who attended the MTV EMA awards at Rotterdam this year in a Monisha Jaising creation, failed to impress the fashion-gurus.

An international daily not only featured her among the ‘Worst Dressed Celebs,’ but also tagged her as a ‘Bollywood Blunder.’ The Daily Mail’s exact words read as follows, “Bollywood blunder: Indian actress Deepika Padukone may be stunning but her swamp green bralet and skirt combo did nothing for her sensational figure.”

Deepika was so much excited for her Red Carpet debut when asked about it sexy starlet said: “I was pleasantly surprised when I got the invite. It is very gracious of them to invite me. I have grown up watching the MTV awards and I didn’t think that one day, I would be walking down the red carpet and presenting an award at this global music event. It’s a step forward in my global career.”
