Ishan Kishan set the social media abuzz with his breathtaking batting display to kickoff the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2021 today.

The left-hander smashed a scintillating 173 runs from just 94 balls against Madhya Pradesh. Ishan shot 19 fours and 11 sizes at Madhya Pradesh’s Holkar Stadium in Indore.

Ishan Kishan played a blast knock in the first match of the Elite Group B between Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh at the Holkar Stadium in Indore.

Ishan Kishan was sent to bat first by Madhya Pradesh skipper Parth Sahani who chose to field after winning the toss. Kishan opened the innings alongside Utkarsh Singh but lost his partner early in the innings.

Then came Kumar Kishagra who showed resistance but was also dismissed for 26 runs paving the way for Virat Singh to enter. Virat And Ishan Kishan then produced a spectacular partnership of 117 runs before Ishan was dismissed by Gaurav Yadav.

Meanwhile, Ishan Kishan’s IPL Franchise Mumbai Indians and Netizens hailed the southpaw’s heroics.

Kishan was not at his best in the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20s. He managed only one half-century in five matches as Jharkhand failed to make it to the knockout stages.
