News Leak Centre

No Fear No Favour

Ahead of the World Test Championship Final, a leaked audio clip of Virat Kohli and Ravi Shastri goes Viral!

The Indian Cricket Team has departed for the United Kingdom for their much-anticipated clash against New Zealand in the ICC World Championship.

The team had taken their flight from Mumbai and will land in London today. However, before their departure, skipper Virat Kohli and head coach Ravi Shastri showed up for a virtual press conference and addressed various questions from journalists.

However, the highlight here wasn’t the main event but something which happened seconds before the formal start. Both Ravi Shastri and Virat Kohli were caught unaware of the fact that they were live and were busy discussing their plan to emerge victorious against New Zealand.

Within no time, the audio of the same discussion went viral in India, with Netizens speculating India’s bowling combination.

In the viral clip Virat Kohli can be heard saying ‘Hum Inko Round the Wicket Dalwayega, Left-Handers Hai Know, Lala, Siraj Sbko Start se hi Laga Denge’. On his remark, Shastri can be heard doing a ‘hmmm’.

As per their conversation, it can be estimated that both Mohammed Siraj and Mohammed Shami (Lala) will set foot in India’s playing XI against the Kiwis.

Meanwhile, it will be an interesting thing to see which combination team India will take up during the big Final Against New Zealand.

“We have worked hard for finals and nobody can take that away from us! There was no doubt we were gonna be featuring in the WTC Final.

“It’s like football, we gotta keep our standards high,” said Kohli during the same presser,” stated Kohli during the same presser.

India will take on New Zealand on 18 June for the mega event and will have less time for their preparations due to mandatory quarantine in the UK.

On the Other Hand, New Zealand will have an added advantage as they are already showing against the home side for a two-match Test Series where they will get the idea of playing conditions over there.

The stage is set and we are geared up to see how the Men in Blue Will take on the Black Caps after their quarantine period in England.
