The founder of the brand, Vivek Sahni wanted to launch an Indian brand and natural cosmetics. They took inspiration from Indian Ayurveda and wanted to present it out to the world.
Sahni, a graduate of Parsons School of Design set up a graphic design company and went on designing several logos and packaging items. After a few years he worked on a project with the Government of India in order to promote Khadi products and this lead to the birth of Kama Ayurveda.
Initially they didn’t had an idea as to where the company’s future holds. Their first big order, The Oberoi and The Park Hotel lead to their recognition and contributed a to a major success. They went on to explain how wellness and beauty sector in India is growing everyday and holds a large market.
Today the brand is recognised on International level with distribution with almost 36 countries and more than 40 store across the Nation.
