2000 rupees note are making a debut in India, and twitteratti’s has an image too!
Twitter was abuzz yesterday with images of bundles of pink-and-white notes. And if Twitterati is to be believed, these Rs 2,000 denomination notes are the ones the Reserve Bank of India intends to release into circulation soon. Its on twitter so it’s definitely true, right!
A few weeks ago, several reports claimed that the Reserve Bank of India will soon be issuing Rs 2,000 currency notes.
However, there is no official diktat as of now from the RBI regarding the same.
Therefore, whether these images circulating on the social media platform are authentic or not, cannot be ascertained.
Twitterati, nevertheless, is rather enthusiastic about the high-value new pink-and-white notes.
Currently, the highest denomination under circulation is Rs 1,000. If these notes do come into circulation, what impact it would have on hoarding of black money remains to be seen.
Everyone faces the same problem bro!
