Indian women’s cricket team captain Mithali Raj was on Thursday awarded a cheque for Rs 1 crore and 600 square yards of land in Banjara Hills by the Telangana government for her feats on the cricket ground.

The 35-year-old from Hyderabad is the highest run-scorer in women’s international cricket and the only female cricketer to surpass the 6,000-run mark in ODIs. Mithali Raj is the first captain (men or women) to lead India to an ICC ODI World Cup final twice — in 2005 and 2017.

State sports minister T. Padma Rao Goud, sports secretary Burra Venkatesham and Sports Authority of Telangana State chairman Allipuram Venkateshwar Reddy awarded the cheque and land documents at the Secretariat Conference Hall on Thursday. As Saffron Spreads Across India, 2019 Lok Sabha Election Seems Like A Cake-Walk For PM Narendra Modi!

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s bid to retain power in 2019+ looks stronger than ever, with the BJP now reigning over the north, west and the east, quite the way the Congress did in its heyday. With JD(U) chief Nitish Kumar forming a government+ with the NDA in Bihar, the BJP and its allies now rule over 70 per cent of the country’s population, marking an unprecedented saffron footprint.

What’s more, the BJP overwhelmingly dominates the major states in the country, as its alliance is in power in seven of the 12 states which send 20 or more MPs to the Lok Sabha. In the remaining five non-BJP-ruled states, regional parties such as the AIADMK and BJD, which govern Tamil Nadu and Odisha respectively, have been favourably disposed to the saffron camp.

As the BJP expands, the Congress has shrunk significantly in the last few years. The 130-year-old party now rules only in one big state, Karnataka, where the BJP under B S Yeddurappa is working overtime to upstage it in the 2018 Assembly polls.

The mission to rule from Kamrup to Kutch and Kashmir to Kanyakumari has long been a war cry for the BJP, which has been adding to its ever-swelling kitty of NDA-ruled states in the last few years.

With Nitish Kumar switching sides+ , the first half of its mission is almost complete as it rules the vast territory between the two regions barring West Bengal, where Mamata Banerjee is firmly in the saddle.

The BJP is also present in southern India, which is the weakest link in the BJP’s formidable armour. The party along with its ally TDP is in power in Andhra Pradesh. The BJP enjoys friendly ties with the ruling parties of Telangana and Tamil Nadu.

Kerala and West Bengal are the only major states where the saffron tint is still to strengthen. Senior BJP leaders believe that the return of Kumar, identified with good governance and probity, to its fold has severely dented the opposition’s attempts at forging a united front against the NDA.

“Who will be key faces in any such opposition front in 2019? Akhilesh Yadav, Mayawati, Mamata Banerjee, Lalu Prasad? None of them can corner us on the issue of corruption or good governance. Nitish was a different matter,” a jubilant party leader said after Kumar was sworn in.

This Guy Is Redefining Fast Cash. Mints Rs 7.5 Lacks In An Hour Just By Selling Ice-cream

Earning well is everyone’s goal, and earning much is everyone’s dream. Making that dream into reality, Telangana CM, K Chandrasekhar Rao’s son did something similar to that.

When CM Chandrasekhar Rao asked his party member to take up the role of a “coolie” for two days to raise money for the party convention, his son, KT Rama Rao, IT minister in his cabinet, took on the challenge and showed up to an ice-cream parlour.

Rama Rao was seen at the ice-cream parlour, which is located on the Hyderabad-Nagpur National highway. In less than an hour, he made around Rs 7.5 lacks in the process. Well, it was some fast cash as ice-cream takes a month time to come to this selling.

He made five ice-creams and sold them successfully before serving juice at T Planet on the same premises.

Well, Rama Rao’s customers were super rich who literally shelled out 5 lakh rupees. And since it’s no secret that politicians in Telangana are some of the richest in the country, this incident doesn’t really stand out from several others – remember when KCR took 5 lakh of taxpayers’ money and donated it to Tirumala temple?
