Priyanka-Nick Affair Heats Up, The Actress Shares Idea Of Getting Married

“Nick loves doing things together with his brother Joe and Sophie, and the four of them love to hangout,” the source said. “Priyanka is a really good fit into the Jonas family.” Perhaps more permanently at this rate.

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif should get married, says this Bollywood Actor

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif’s affair might have ended many years ago. Katrina went on to date Ranbir Kapoor and Salman found love in Romanian beauty Iulia Vantur. Many had suggested a year back that the two stars were to get married to their respective partners then. While buzz was that Salman wanted to tie the knot with Iulia on November 18, the same day as his parents’ anniversary. However, turns out that the eternal bachelor of Bollywood is in no mood to ditch his single status. Salman and Iulia have not been spotted as frequently as they were early last year. Many reports suggested that after Katrina’s split, Salman’s strong shoulders supported his ex-lover and this created a rift in his relationship with Iulia. Of course, Salman and Katrina have never really talked about coming together, but if rumours are to be believed then after Fitoor tanked and Ranbir-Katrina’s Jagga Jasoos failed to make an impact at the box office, it was Salman Khan who helped the actress get her career back on track by recommending the actress for Aamir Khan’s Thugs Of Hindostan and Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero.

Fans wish for the couple to reunite in real life like they did on screen for Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tiger Zinda Hai. And Kaabil actress Urvashi Rautela too feels that Katrina should get hitched to Salman soon. I was 16 when Feroze proposed me: Indira Gandhi

Indira Priyadarshini Gandhi was an Indian stateswoman and central figure of the Indian National Congress. She was the first and, to date, the only female Prime Minister of India. There are many aspects of her life that we are not known to. She is known for her powerful personality all over the world.

In an interview, she said,”I was 13-14 years old when I first saw Feroze. When he proposed me I was 16-year old. He continued to propose me till I didn’t agree. Feroz was the only man in my life. I have taken great care of my children and I’ve never let anyone touch them. I have faced many difficulties in my life. I believe that you can share your happiness with others but not agony. You have to handle that alone. I think I have handled myself completely alone.

I could not make any friends because I was so busy with freedom fighting and politics. I never felt like a normal teenager. I had only cousins, who were boys. I had a few female friends in school, but I really hated the gossip. I liked games that included climbing trees.

I never dreamt that I could be the head of the country. Whatever I am is because of my father. People keep learning many things from many people at many stages of life. In the same way, I learnt many things from many people. For me, whoever fought for independence, were my true heroes. I was only 19 when my mother died.”

You got a reason to celebrate your thirties!

The German Professor, Martin Luther once said, “There is no more a lovely, friendly or charming relationship, communion or company, than a good marriage.” But what does a good marriage really implies? As diverse factors influence a person’s decision to get married.

Marriage as an institution varies due to cultural indifference. For few, the desire to start a life with the loved one prioritized over the whole thing, while for others, it might be an age factor or the societal imposition.

Whatever the reason is but there is no quick fix formula to get indulged into a healthier wedlock.

Bible enlightens us that to find examples of godly marriages one has to devotionally read the Bible. On that, a new study is seeking to change that notion. In a sharp contrast, wedlock is a risky association.

According to a research carried out by Nicholas H. Wolfinger, a Professor at the University of Utah, USA, age is a real factor to decide your bonding and separation.

The study revealed that people who tie the knot between the ages of 28 to 32 have the least chances of getting divorced.

The research puts forth several reasons for this conclusion. It concludes that the chances of a divorce decline drastically as you age from your teenage years through your late twenties and early thirties. But the chances of divorce go up again as you move into your late thirties and early forties.

“Past the age of 32 or so, the odds of divorce increase by 5 percent per year of age at marriage. The kinds of people who wait till their thirties to get married may be the kinds of people who aren’t predisposed toward doing well in their marriages,” says Wolfinger in the paper.

The study that has been published by the Institute of Family Studies also suggests that one of the reasons for marriages between 28 to 32 to work is that people are usually financially stable by that time and much more independent than in their early years. Managing budget in the ultra-modern and super expansive century is quite a compulsion related to marriage.

So here, comes a new eye-opener, financial stability, as a key role in today’s success wedlock.

Serena Williams welcomes first child, gives birth to a baby with fiance Alexis Ohanian

Serena Williams has given birth to a girl, according to the United States Open’s official Twitter account and her coach.

The highly anticipated announcement came late Friday afternoon as Serena’s sister Venus Williams romped over another opponent and into the fourth round of the major tennis tournament in Flushing, Queens.

Asked just before her match on Friday about reports of Serena having given birth and about becoming an aunt, Venus Williams told ESPN’s Pam Shriver she was “super excited,” adding, “Words can’t describe.”

Serena Williams, 35, has not played a match since winning her 23rd Grand Slam singles title at the Australian Open on Jan. 28. It was later discovered that she had been close to two months pregnant at the time, after a photograph was posted on the tennis superstar’s Snapchat story on April 19 that showed her posing sideways in a yellow bathing suit with what looked like a baby bump. The image, which appeared to have been taken in a mirror, was captioned “20 weeks” and was later deleted.

After a wild day of speculation, Williams confirmed she was pregnant. She had unexpectedly announced her engagement to Alexis Ohanian, a businessman and the co-founder of Reddit, months earlier, in December.

Her coach, Patrick Mouratoglou, congratulate the new mother on Twitter.

Irom Sharmila ties the knot in a simple wedding at Kodaikanal

Renowned Human Rights activist Irom Sharmila married long-time beau Desmond Coutinha at the sub-registrar’s office in Kodaikanal on Thursday. While the media and friends were witnesses to the simple ceremony, families of the bride and the groom were absent.

The wedding was formalised after three people, all residents of Kodaikanal, signed as witnesses. Irom Sharmila and Desmond Coutinha spent two months completing legal formalities to go through the wedding after pro-right organisations opposed their marriage in the hill station. Irom tied the knot under the ‘Special Marriage Act 1954’. With no invitations or fanfare, the marriage of the rights activist was a simple affair.

Speaking to reporters ahead of her marriage Irom said that she intended to settle in Kodaikanal. “I will settle in Kodaikanal and embark on a new mission against AFSPA for bringing about peace and justice in the country. I will give a 5-minute power point presentation on AFSPA and the key issues gripping Manipur in the South Asian Youth Summit, 2017 in Bhubaneswar,” she said. The summit is scheduled to be held on September.

The marriage was once postponed after few organisations registered protests against the activist tying the knot in Kodaikanal. The organisation alleged that the activist’s marriage could ‘ruin the peace and tranquillity of the city’. Divya Bharati, a filmmaker was Irom’s bridesmaid.

Sobbing Plea Over Loveless Marriage; Queen’s Diana Tapes Reveals

Intimate revelations – direct from the mouth of Diana, Princess of Wales –about her courtship and married life to Prince Charles are to be aired on British television next month after years of dispute about the recordings. Speaking to a video camera four years before her death, Diana will tell of Charles’s early unexpected attempts to woo her as a teenager and of the sorrow that enveloped her soon after her wedding day in July 1981.

In the documentary Diana: In Her Own Words, to be shown on Channel 4 in the run-up to the 20th anniversary of her death in a car crash on 31 August, the princess reveals that five years into her marriage she went “sobbing” to the Queen once she believed she had “confirmation” that her marriage was loveless. “So I went to the top lady and said: ‘I don’t know what I should do’. She said: ‘I don’t know what you should do.’ And that was it. That was ‘help’.”

Diana also tells of the impact of an illicit romance with a mystery man. The unconsummated affair dominated her thoughts for a while, she says, until it was suspected by the royal household.

“At 24, I fell deeply in love with someone who was part of all this and that was all found out and he was chucked out and then he was killed. And that was the deepest blow in my life I must say,” she says. Diana is widely thought to have been speaking of her feelings for Barry Mannakee, an officer in the royal protection squad who later died in a motorcycle accident

In the video tapes, recorded at Kensington Palace in 1993 by her public speaking coach, Peter Settelen, Diana claims that the man would “mentally kick me out and make me go to my engagements because I used to sort of scream in his room”.

She tells Settelen that the royal family knew about her infatuation. “But there was never any proof,” she adds. “I should never have played with fire, but I did and I got very burnt. Three weeks after he left, he was killed in a motorbike accident. And he was the greatest fun I have ever had.”

Ralph Lee, the commissioning editor of factual at Channel 4, said: “This film gives Diana a voice and places it front and centre at a time when the nation will be reflecting on her life and death. It is her account of events both private and public and is an important contribution to the historical record.”

The footage at the core of the new documentary has been contentious since 2001 when the tapes were unearthed in a police raid on the home of Paul Burrell, the former royal butler. The Spencer family made a legal claim on the tapes but they were returned to Settelen in 2004. Already shown in part on the American television network NBC, the tapes were then to have been part of a BBC documentary marking the 10th anniversary of the princess’s death. Sir Teddy Taylor, the Tory MP for Rochford and Southend East at the time, called for a ban on broadcasting the tapes in any form while the couple’s sons, Princes William and Harry, were alive. No ban was imposed, but the programme was still pulled from the schedule despite having cost more than £100,000 to make.

The new Channel 4 documentary gives fresh insights from Diana’s private secretary, Patrick Jephson, and from her close friend, Dr James Colthurst. It also contains the first public comments from Anne Allan, the dance teacher who instructed the princess in private. Allan speaks of Diana’s “huge shyness” and of her decision to ask Camilla Parker Bowles to leave her husband alone.

Diana candidly confirms she had met Charles just 13 times before they married and she describes her early ambitions in life. “I wasn’t academically interested at all,” she says. “I just wanted to be with people and have fun and look after people,” she says, rolling her eyes in self-parody. “But the rebel thing was always there. It was underlying. It didn’t come out. Or they didn’t see it.”

The princess describes being “unimpressed” with Charles in her youth, yet after the killing of Lord Mountbatten in 1979 she thought it would be nice to meet him again. “He chatted me up. He was all over me like a bad rash. Later at a barbecue, we were sitting on this bale of hay together and we were chatting about his girlfriend and Mountbatten and I said: ‘You must be so lonely.’”

Expressing sympathy for the solitary figure Charles cut as he followed Mountbatten’s coffin, Diana says she suggested he needed someone “beside” him: “Whereupon he leapt upon me! He was all over me for the rest of the evening. He followed me like a puppy.”

At 19, Diana admits the attentions of such a prominent older man were flattering. She was “seriously” wooed, she tells Settelen, and sensed Charles was intrigued when she stood up to him. Invited to come to Buckingham Palace to visit while he worked, she remembers thinking: “Well, bugger it, I do mind sitting there while you do your work. I said that, and that sort of lit up something in him. I was quite a challenge.”

The infamous engagement interview on television in early 1981, in which Charles questioned the meaning of the phrase “in love”, threw her “completely”, she confesses. She had answered that, yes, she was in love “like the fat Sloane Ranger that I was” and was then “absolutely traumatised” by his response.
