Shahid Kapoor Has Been Spotted At Juhu Beach After Ganesha Immersion

Whether you are a responsible citizen or not depends on your action rather than words. After lots of tweets regarding the cleanliness, Shahid Kapoor has been recently spotted At Juhu beach, in Mumbai today’s morning.

After the release of Batti Gul Meter Chalu, Shahid Kapoor is a happy man. From back-to-back promotional campaigns to father duties, Shahid has had a busy month. But now with the release of his film, Shahid Kapoor has got some time to relax and he is making the most of it free time. Today, right in the morning, the actor was spotted at Juhu beach. Yes, Shahid Kapoor took an initiative of cleaning up the Juhu beach- a day after Ganeshotsav immersions. Here, Shahid Kapoor is sporting a casual look but his bearded look just won our hearts.

Every year on Ganesh Chaturthi, Ganesh Utsav and Ganesh Visarjan, people all across India join in the merriment and welcome home Lord Ganesha. While they host the deity for a different number of days, depending on their choice, the revelry and emotions while bidding him adieu remain constant for all.

But while the days of dance and fun are something every Mumbaikar looks forward to, it’s the post-Visarjan days that they dread. And rightly so. The beaches all across the city become victims to the rituals and practices and every year, the cause is brought to the fore by some celebrities and organisations.

This isn’t the first time that a celebrity has joined hands with other people to make sure the cleanliness is maintained. In fact, Shahid’s wife, Mira, too, has been vocal about the cause on her Instagram account. Just a few months back, she had taken to social media and raised concerns over the plastic remains that continue to dwell at the beach. She had then urged individuals and organisations to lend support for the cause.

To the Million who can see this post Even a pot of water won’t boil just by looking at it; it needs that fire to make it simmer, boil and spill over till someone notices. Let’s make a change, clean up our mess, and hear nature’s call not to choke her more than she already is. Every year before the arrival of the monsoon, all the plastic that clogs the sea is thrown out by it. This makes it the best time to clean the beach and simultaneously the water. Let’s do this together and clean up Juhu Beach. We owe it to our children who play in the sand, the teams that play their football and cricket matches on it, the walkers and the yogis, the dogs that roam enthusiastically and the birds that forage for their feed. Thank you all for all the suggestions you have sent in, people I should get in touch with, and your concerned responses as well. Let’s spread the word! Calling all concerned citizens, organisations, individuals who can help and help me be a part of this too! 🙏🏻

Here’s How To Do Visarjan If You Don’t Stay Near Water Body

Ganesh Chaturthi one festival that is widely celebrated around the country. Although it is known for immersing lord Ganesha’s idol in a water body, the practice has become a threat to the environment. Recently, singer Vishal Dadlani tweeted about the environmental hazards caused by doing visarjan on a water body.

He wrote, “India, don’t immerse Ganpati in the ocean or natural water-bodies. Can’t bear to see half-dissolved idols all over again. Treat Ganesha & Nature with the respect they deserve. Use natural, soluble idols & immerse at home/in tanks built for this. Pl. don’t let this happen again.”

Many devotees do live near a water body and so are unable to do visarjan. Although one might find it disappointing, it is actually a way of choosing a healthier environmental decision. Several Ganesha idols which are made of materials like plaster of Paris are immersed in large water bodies that give off harmful chemicals which threated aqua life and waste clean water.

Though people should take a pledge of going eco-friendly this year if you do immerse idols in a water body, devotees who do not stay near can do this…

While the festival is about chanting Ganpati Bappa Morya and 10 long days of celebrations, several people have to celebrate the festival using clay idols and immersing it in buckets of water at home.

This movie is unfolding jigsaw puzzle, told from different points-of-view and spanning over four decades, Daddy is an unforgettable excursion into the Mumbai underworld.

If we will talk about Bollywood and  not talk about King khan then it would be quiet unfair. Shahrukh Khan dancing on this beautiful Lord Ganesha’s song from the film Don.

Bappa

Last year released Banjo din’t do that well but this Bappa dance number was a big hit. Vishal-Shekhar composed the fusion rock song and the lyrics were written by Amitabh Bhattacharya is a gripping dance number for this Ganesh Chaturthi.

Sindoor lal Chadayo

This beautiful song from the film Vaastav seems like a gift from Lord Ganesha only, amazing lyrics with melodious voice is a special Ganesh Chaturthi song and various Pandals includes the same for hymns.

Deva Shree Ganesha

This colourful song in Hritik Roshan’s starer film Agneepath is a visual delight and can get anyone grooving. Deva Shree Ganesha is a high energy devotional song. It starts off with bells of different pitches fused together and then the introduction of percussions will give you goose bumps.

Sadda Dil Vi Tu

With some fantastic dancers grooving to the beats of this song from the film ABCD, Sada Dil Vi Tu is the perfect dance number which can make you go crazy on this Ganesh Chaturthi. It has been caroled by Hard kaur.

So, have a blast with these peppy dance numbers on this Ganesh Chaturthi.

Welcoming Bappa! This Ganesh Chaturthi offer your prayers on mobile

The music of dhols, all the happy faces coloured with gulaal and people dancing to the tunes of ‘Ganpati Bappa Moreya’. Ganesh Utsav is the festival of joy and devotion which binds all our country together. Devotees all across the country were eagerly waiting for this auspicious day since a long time and the time is finally here.

Bappa has finally arrived to all the homes today. Not only at homes, the modern day bappa is now ruling the virtual world too! Offering prayers at a temple is one of the most common things we do but have you ever thought of texting lord Ganesh on your phones? Chintaman Ganesha temple in Juni, Indore, offers a novel service to devotees who cannot make it to the temple personally. Devotees who are based at far off places and wish to pray to Lord Ganesha call up the priests at the temple on their mobile phone. The priests in turn put the mobile handset close to the God’s ears even as the devotee offers prayers over the phone. On Ganesh Chaturthi day, as thousands of local devotees throng the temple, there are hundreds more based abroad who wish to offer prayers, too, at the temple to seek blessings. This is how the tradition seems to have started.

Isn’t it a really cool thing for the modern era? Even the tech giant twitter has paid a special tribute and joined the bappa fever. Twitter has launched a special Lord Ganesha Twitter emoji that Indians can Tweet to welcome the much-loved god home on Monday, 5th September. When people Tweet using #GaneshChaturthi, #HappyGaneshChaturthi, #Ganeshotsav, #गणेशचतुर्थी, #गणेशोत्सव, a Lord Ganesha emoji will be activated next to the hashtag. The emoji has gone live since September 4 and will be active until the last day of celebrations. This little effort by twitter is big enough to make us smile and enjoy the grand welcome of Bappa in an even better way.
