Today, PM Modi will visit  Odisha and Kerala : government says

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch several projects in Odisha and Kerala today These projects also include a railway line and a highway bypass project. Initiative of Prime Minister Multi Modal Logistics Park (MMLP) and other development projects in Jharsuguda of Odisha. In addition, he will also start a new railway line between Bolangir and Bichupli.

State Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will not participate in the official program of Prime Minister Modi as he will be busy with state government programs. The official sources have told about this. After the official program, PM Modi can address a public meeting in Bolangir, in the morning at 12:00 pm.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be in Kerala on Tuesday to inaugurate a road project in Kollam,  In Kollam, Modi will inaugurate 13-km Kollam bypass on the National Highway 66, which will reduce travel time between Alappuzha and Thiruvananthapuram, decongesting traffic in Kollam town. The cost of the two-lane road project, which includes 3 major bridges over the Ashtamudi lake, having a total length of 1,540 metres, is Rs 352 crore.

Prime Minister will visit the Padmanabh Swami Temple at Thiruvananthapuram. There they will unveil a plaque as a sign of the launch of some features for visitors. The government says that due to the completion of these projects, new socio-economic opportunities will be created for the public and this will boost trade and tourism in this area.

It will be the third official visit of the Prime Minister to Kollam. His first visit to the city was in December 2015, when he unveiled the statue of former Chief Minister of Kerala R. Sankar, and later he paid a visit in April 2016 after a fire tragedy.
