This is how Delhi Police treats migrants after Rahul Gandhi meets them

A group of migrant workers were walking from Ambala in Haryana to Jhansi in UP, when Congress leader Rahul Gandhi met them near the Sukhdev Vihar locality near the Delhi-Faridabad border and interacted with them. But shortly after the event they were detained by the Delhi Police.
According to the Congress sources, the Delhi police claimed that they had “directions from the top” to place the migrants under preventive detention but the Delhi police have still not issued any statement on this.
As we all are aware of the difficult times migrants workers are facing due to lockdown and are lacking means of money, food, shelter and transport facilities to return to their towns and village, this group was also forced to walk to their village because of the above mentioned issues.

The images are shared of the Wayanad MP interacting with the migrants by the Congress media cell.
Over the past week, we have come through several incidents of migrant workers dying in road accidents while moving back to their homes.
