Famous Indian comedian Kapil Sharma who is in troubled waters over his allegations of bribery against the BMC may soon join the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
With Navjot Singh Sidhu clearing out speculations about whether he will be putting his own political flag in Punjab, Kapil Sharma is going to campaign for Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP who are furiously introducing miniscule perks to woo people of the state.
Arvind Kejriwal may also come to Kapil’s own comedy show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ to announce the news.
It is also evident from the way how Kapil Sharma took to Twitter to voice his agitation over bribery in BMC. The comedian even tagged Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his tweet and criticised his ‘Acche din’ political slogan. For this, FIR has been filed against Kapil Sharma for destroying mangroves.
No official confirmation has come from the AAP’s side. But it is clear that Kapil Sharma will be campaigning for AAP in Punjab. After Javed Jaffery, Gurpreet Ghuggi and Bhagwant Mann, Kapil Sharma will be the fourth comedian to join Aam Aadmi Party.
If Kapil Sharma joins the party, it would be a big win for AAP, as Kapil’s fan following is unmatched, the comedian has 24 million and 6.44 million Facebook and Twitter followers respectively, and not to mention his constantly high trp television show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ as well.
