Mumbai Woman Starts Online Petition For Better Roads After One Biker’s Death!

A Mumbaikar has taken the online route to urge the authorities to fill the potholes on Mumbai’s roads.

Taking note of the issues raised by RJ Malishka and the death of biker Jagruti Hogale on Dahanu-Jawhar road, Mumbai citizen Shally K has started a signature petition to demand better roads in and around the city.

“A recent death of the biker, who slipped into one of the potholes during one of her rides, shows potholes are also dangerous to life and this issue which has always been hastily addressed before monsoons, needs deeper intervention,” said Shally K in her petition.

The petition which began on Friday, had already received over 1,500 signatures by afternoon.

The petition is urging, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, ruling party Shiv Sena, along with CM Devendra Fadnavis, to create and implement a long-term plan to make Mumbai pothole-free.
