Bizarre: UP Child’s Rights Commission member sends notice to PM Modi over his ‘Adopted Son’ remarks. view pics!

Just four days after PM Modi called himself as ‘adopted son of UP’ in an election rally, the UP state commission for Child Right has ordered a legal documents from PM Modi to substantiates his claim of adoption by someone in Uttar Pradesh.

The Child Right commission has only given seven days for submitting the file (Now it’s less than three days) failing of this will result to an official apology from PM Modi over his remark. Not, only this if the legal documents haven’t submitted in the given time the adoption will be deemed as illegal and against the spirit of Juvenile Justice Act, 2015.

UP State Commission for Protection Of Child Rights, Member, Nahid Lari Khan has also sent the letter copies to Election commission of India.

In the notice, Nahid Khan has mentioned that commission has taken suo-motto cognizance of Modi’s statement from media wherein he has mentioned that he has been adopted by UP. According to Khan, the statement is the direction violation and against the spirit of The Juvenile Justice Act 2015, Chapter 8 Section 56 to 73. Section 56 to 73 has defined the process of adoption.

In the notice, Khan has written that the PM has mocked the sanctity of Juvenile justice Act, protected by the constitution and passed by the parliament. has stated that Prime Minister has mocked the sanctity of the Act, protected by the constitution and passed by the Parliament. She also stated that PM Modi has hurt the sentiments of all those poor children who have been left alone and actually go through the adoption process.

The commission wants an apology from PM Modi as it has hurt the sentiments of children waiting for their parents and adoption. PM Modi has also been requested to visit Orphanage centres to feel the pain and sufferings of all those children.

Earlier, PM Minister has stated in an election rally at Barabanki-“Lord Krishna was born in U.P. and made Gujarat his karmbhoomi (land of work). I was born in Gujarat and U.P. has adopted me … Uttar Pradesh is my mai-baap. I am not the son who would betray his mai-baap. You have adopted me and it is my duty to work for you.”

And this statement starts a war of words in political grounds, earlier Congress campaigner Priyanka Gandhi also criticised PM Modi statement and said UP already has its own youth to adopt.
