Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff’s latest release ‘War’ beats Kabir Singh and becomes the highest grossing film of the year. The Siddharth Anand-directorial minted Rs 280.60 crore, including the Telugu and Tamil releases, to achieve the feat.
Shahid Kapoor-Kiara Advani’s Kabir Singh had managed to mint total of Rs. 278 crore. Sailing past the mark with Rs. 280 crore, Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff starrer WAR has managed to take over the position which was captured by Kabir Singh.
Hrithik said in a statement of gratitude, “It is an incredible response to our hard work and I’m truly grateful to the audience for loving our film. When we decided to make War, we were clear that we were attempting to do something that has never been done in Indian cinema and we went all out to make it happen. So, it’s hugely validating to see the fantastic response of the people enjoying our action entertainer in the theatres.”
