Sepoy Kumar (22 Rashtriya Rifles), lost his own life while eliminating two terrorists in Darsu village in Baramulla district in August last year.

“Even though he was injured, he killed one terrorist and refused to evacuate the place. Later he killed another terrorist in hand-to-hand fight before succumbing to his injuries”, said the officer.
