TikTok snatching away basic focus: Nurses in trouble.

In a government hospital of Malkangiri district of Odisha, nurses are seen wearing their uniform and wearing a moderate amount of make-up and making Tik-Tok videos, associated with Hindi songs, Punjabi songs, and some funny dialogues.

The nurses were enjoying themselves during the working hours of the hospital, in the sick and newborn care unit (SNCU) of the hospital. “This has happened for the very first time here.

We are shocked to see these videos, which seem to have been made inside the hospital during work hours. A probe has been ordered and the nurses seen in the videos have been issued show-cause notices,” said Sapan Kumar Dinda, the officer-in-charge of the hospital and additional district medical officer (ADMO).

“Cell phones, which pose radiation hazards, should not be taken inside the SNCU as very delicate newborns are admitted there. This is a serious violation of work ethics and rules. Strict action should be taken against all those responsible,” said Madhusudan Mishra, former president of Odisha Medical Services Association (OMSA).

Ajit Ku Mohanty( Chief District Medical Officer) said that the respective nurses should be suspended. Residents of the place expressed that this act is completely wrong, as the nurses should not do such things when they are supposed to take care of the patients. The fact is that thousands of people look to the hospital as the temple, which can cure everything for them, through the magical powers of the doctors, but such incident is a symbol of shame working against the expectation of a common man. The world of glamor has completely taken over the basic responsibility towards his prior work.
