Three generations of Deols to star in Apne 2 ,Here are the Deets.

The much-awaited and expected announcement has finally come through. After winning the hearts of the audience with their 2007 film,’ Apne ‘ and the Deols are back with the sequel of the movie.

Taking to their social media handles, Dharmendra, Sunny, and Bobby Deol announced the second installment of the film ‘Apne 2’ .To take it a level up, the film will feature three generations of Deols with Karan Deol as an addition to the movie.

This is the first time the three generations of Deols will be sharing screen space. The shooting of the film will begin in March 2021 and the makers are looking for a Diwali release.

Directed by Anil Sharma, the shooting will take place largely in Mumbai and London. The modalities are fast being worked out.

On Sunday, Dharmendra shared a video from Apne and announced that they are going to come back with Apne 2.

Legendary actor Dharmendra shares, “Apne is one of the best films of my life. A joint effort by the whole unit, received very well by you all. Now, I’m very happy because I will get to shoot Apne 2 with my entire family – my sons Sunny, Bobby and my grandson Karan. It will be a very special film and I am looking forward to shoot.”

Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol also took to their social media handles to announce the news.

While Apne revolves around the relationship between a father and his two sons, it is to be seen what Apne 2 has to offer given Karan Deol is also on board this time. Apne was a box office hit, which minted a decent amount overseas. Apart from Apne, Dharmendra, Sunny, and Bobby were also seen together in the Yamla Pagla Deewana series.
