The government may extend lockdown duration as Maharashtra, Kerala, and TN continue to be COVID19 hotspots.

The total number of COVID-19 cases in India has reached 4, 421 and the death toll now stands at 114 , the Union Health Ministry said.  Maharashtra, Kerala, Delhi, and Tamil Nadu continued to be the COVID-19 hotspots with maximum share in the total number of coronavirus cases in India amidst 21-day complete nationwide lockdown. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hinted that the ‘war’ against Coronavirus may take longer than expected.

Meanwhile, a five-member team from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) collected exhibits from the Tablighi Jamaat headquarters in Delhi’s Nizamuddin. At least 9,000 people participated in the religious congregation in Nizamuddin last month.

The top COVID19 hotspots in Maharashtra, Kerala, Tamilnadu, and Delhi have approximately 800, 350, 600, and 550 cases respectively. There has been no downfall in the no. of COVID positive case. Every day the no. of cases along with deaths is increasing in these states. So in order to tackle COVID19 with minimal damage to our nation. The central government is certain to increase the lockdown duration post 15th April.
