Mumbai: The Sessions Court in Mumbai have denied the bail pleas of actress Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik Chakraborty, Sushant Singh Rajput’s house manager Samuel Miranda, servant Dipesh Sawant and drug suppliers Zaid Vilatra and Abdul Basit.
They were arrested by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) for procuring illegal drugs to the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
“Once we get the order copy, we will decide the next week on the course of action on approaching the high courtcourt. ” Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde told ANI.
Rhea and Showik had applied for the bail in special court under Narcotics Drugs and Psycho after Rhea Chakraborty was arrested on Tuesday by NCB under NDPS Act as their pleas were rejected by the Magistrate Court. But special court has also informed the all six that their plea has been rejected. The reason is still unknown.
‘Angrezi Medium’ actress Radhika Madaan said that she wants justice for Sushant Singh Rajput but also feels heartbroken after seeing the way Rhea Chakraborty is being treated by media and speaking up for Rhea doesn’t mean disrespecting Sushant Singh Rajput.
All six accused are likely to be moved to Bombay High Court after the bail.
