Rahul-Priyanka arrive in Shamli to pay homage to martyrs in Pulwama Attack – Know More

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi and her brother and Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday  reached the Shamli district through the UP Meerut border. To meet the family of martyred Amit Kumar who was among the 40 CRPF troopers killed by a pulwama attack  in Kashmir and pledged to stand by the family, Talked to the family and paid tribute. Rahul said that the Congress party is with him during this sad hour.

During this, they stop & sat in the Shiva Shakti Dhabha  near the Yamuna Bridge, and took a break of tea And talked to the people on the dhaba. During this time, Facebook was also live, in which Rahul and Priyanka were talking to people on Dhaba. All these leaders left for Shamli after drinking tea on the dhaba. Rahul-Priyanka’s picture is getting viral on the social media faster.

Rahul-Priyanka, along with UP Congress President Raj Babbar and Jyotiraditya Scindia are present.  Significantly, on Jan 23, Priyanka was made the general secretary of the Congress party and former Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia was given charge of western Uttar Pradesh.

Let me tell you that Priyanka Gandhi Vadra joined active politics last month. Mr Gandhi made her in-charge of Uttar Pradesh, along with Madhya Pradesh stalwart Jyotiraditya Scindia. 41 Lok Sabha constituencies out of 80 have been placed under her supervision. Mr Scindia will look after the remaining seats.

Rahul Gandhi, Mr Scindia and Priyanka Gandhi last week took part in a road show in Lucknow. The Congress chief said that the duty of the two leaders would extend to bringing the party in power in the state.
