In a shocking statement, lawyer Prashant Bhushan has insulted Lord Krishna by calling him ‘eve teaser’. Taking to Twitter, Prashant Bhushan said, “Romeo loved just one lady, while Krishna was a legendary Eve teaser. Would Adityanath have the guts to call his vigilantes AntiKrishna squads?”
Prashant took to twitter to show his resentment against Anti Romeo Squad. And this is what the Lawyer put up on twitter.
The comment came in response to a Tweet put up by Swaraj India’s Chief Spokesperson Anupam.
This is what Anupam tweeted…
Anti Romeo Squad: India's tribute to Shakespeare! Won't b surprised if England, to fight eveteasing, forms Anti Krishn Squad in retaliation!

Twitter went bizarre and slammed the Founder of Swaraj India very badly. Controversy irrupted as Bhushan’s tweet has somehow hurt the popular sentiment.
When he found that his tweet has created so much buzz in twitter, he then put up another tweet to clear the air. But to his misery, he couldn’t prevent the outrage that was yet to come.
This is what Prashant tweeted to clear the context…
We have grown up with legends of young Krishna teasing Gopis. The logic of Romeo squad would criminalise this.Didnt intend to hunt sentiments

A police complaint has been filed against Prashant Bhushan, a senior advocate and the co-founder of the new political party Swaraj Abhiyan, for his alleged ‘inflammatory tweets’ against ‘Lord Krishna.’
Delhi BJP spokesperson Tajinder Pal Singh Bagga filed a complaint at the Tilak Marg police station. Though the Police are yet to file an F.I.R, this doesn’t seem to go off the news channels soon.
It has become a trend these days that some renowned figures are making derogatory remarks against religious beliefs just to catch some limelight. Be it Akbaruddin Owasi’s remark on Mata Kaushalya or Lord Ram or for that matter KRK’s comment on Shivling and now Prashant Bhushan, it is quite easy to understand that some Netas and celebrities are not backing away from making remarks that can stir sentiments just to fulfil their political agendas.
Room for disagreement is an important element of Democracy but the way to show your disagreement can’t be harsh. Prashant Bhushan’s comments on Lord Krishna is insulting to Hindu religion and the history of this holy land.
People like Prashant Bhushan were firsts among those who started fueling the intolerance debate last year saying the govt. is trying to snub the democratic values rewarded to the people of this country and wholeheartedly supported ‘The Award Wapsi’ move. These were the people who support disintegration Kashmir. But they are still tolerated in this country.
