Mahesh Bhatt’s legal team issued a statement on Friday, refuting the harassment allegations by actress Luviena Lodh. The statement also said that the veteran filmmaker will take legal action against the actress.

Earlier, Luviena Lodh took to Instagram and posted a video in which she made some serious allegations against the veteran filmmaker.

Luviena began the video by introducing herself as the wife of Mahesh’s nephew, Sumit Sabharwal. Luviena said that Sumit supplies ‘drugs and women’ to various actors and Mahesh Bhatt knows all about it. She says that she wishes to divorce Sumit as she is being harassed by Mahesh Bhatt.Luviena added, ” Mahesh Bhatt is the biggest Don of this industry. He is the one operating this system”.

The statement issued by Mahesh Bhatt’s legal team was shared on the official handle of Vishesh Films. The statement reads “With reference to video released by one Luviena Lodhi. We, on behalf of our client Mahesh Bhatt, refute the allegations. Such allegations are not only false and defamatory but have serious consequences in law. Our client will take such action in accordance with law as advised”
