Heavy rain and thunderstorm lashes Delhi on Tuesday morning. Low visibility delays 15 trains to Delhi. Places like Subhash Nagar and Paschim Vihar received rain throughout Monday morning.

Weather forecast office said that a hailstorm is more likely to trigger over the regions of Jammu division, lower regions of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Harayana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Northwest Uttar Pradesh and North Rajasthan.

“Rain and hailstorm lashes Delhi’s Subhash Nagar”, ANI tweeted. “Rajasthan has already received a cyclonic circulation due to the Western disturbance. It is likely to trigger rain across the plains of northwest India from Monday night till Tuesday night”,BP Yadav, deputy director general of India Meteorological Department (IMD).

He further added that “by Tuesday night, the temperature may rise upto 10 degree Celsius while day temperature could drop to 20 degree Celsius.”
