Kashmir is now free from Article 370 and 35a but Pakistan seems unhappy. President of Pakistan Arif Alvi has declared a similar proxy war against India on his Independence Day speech. He has appealed to the general public of his country to contribute heavily to this biggest war against India.

In the wake of Pakistan’s sharp reaction to India’s decisions on Jammu and Kashmir, the Army has been put on high alert along the Line of Control. Army Chief General Bipin Rawat on Monday said that the army is ready for a full-fledged war with Pakistan after the February Balakot air-strikes. he also informed the government about the preparedness of his force when it was considering various options, including carrying out an aerial raid, to punish Pakistan for the Pulwama terror attack. In the wake of the Pulwama terror attack, the government granted emergency powers to the three services to procure weapons and military hardware to enhance their operational preparedness along the border with Pakistan.

Army Chief Gen. Bipin Rawat very categorically conveyed to the top Officers of the government that his force was fully ready to deal with any ground offensive by Pakistan and take the battle into the enemy territory.
