An IRS official posted as Principal Commissioner with Government of India has reportedly committed suicide in Delhi

According to the sources, there are reports of an IRS official committing suicide at his residence in New Delhi.

Many such cases have been reported so far during the lockdown due to the mental breakdown, depression and increasing cases of domestic violence.

The officer, Keshav Saxena of 1988 batch was posted as Principal Commissioner at Income Tax office of New Delhi. He reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence. Crime team and forensic experts have been investigating the crime scene and the reason behind the official’s suicide is still not clear. (story in development)
