57-Hours long curfew in Ahemdabad – Except for FMCG goods and medical facilities, everything is prohibited.

The second wave of Corona has started to take Gujarat again. Especially in Ahmedabad, the condition is worse. Due to this, curfew has been imposed from 9 am Friday to 6 am Monday. On the first day of the curfew, silence has spread throughout the city. There are also locks in temples. There is only a nominal movement on the roads.

At the same time, police patrolling continues in sensitive areas. There are orders for strictures against those who violate curfew rules. Enormous police arrangements were made in the areas of SG Highway, Ashram Road, Lal Darwaja, Kalupur, Bapunagar, Naroda, Sarkhej, Ring Road, Connected Road to National Highway, Shahpur, Asarwa, Sabarmati, Chandkheda in the city, without checking in the city. Nobody could enter.

According to the curfew guidelines, the entry of heavy vehicles, bus-trucks is banned in the city. Buses coming from outside are being stopped on the bypass itself. Buses have been arranged to take passengers to their homes. Apart from this, there is no restriction on private vehicles of people coming from other cities. However, these have to follow the guidelines of the guidelines.

Yesterday evening, the Home Department issued a notification mentioning the exemption received during the curfew. Curfew restrictions will not apply to the essentials of life such as milk, medical, municipal service, petrol and gas stations, pharma companies, electric and water suppliers, doctors and media. However, it will be mandatory to show them the identity card.
