185 FALL SICK AFTER BOARDING PLANE IN CANADA

A total of 185 people fall sick minutes after boarding a plane in Canada’s Quebec airport. In which 10 passengers were hospitalised, officials said.

The flight Air Transat 782 to US’ Fort Lauderdale could have developed some ventilation problem, a spokesperson of the airport said. Passengers were treated by the paramedics by 11 am on Thursday.

According to a news reported by Xinhua, passengers experienced itchy eyes, dizziness and vomiting during the plane’s de-icing before takeoff.

Firefighters evacuated the plane at Quebec’s Jean Lesage International Airport. After checking, it was found that the air quality in plane was healthy.

Media in Canada reported, five passengers were immediately taken to the hospital while others were shifted afterwards. An investigation has been launched by the airline itself to find out the exact reason.
