This pandemic has been proven to be worst ever experience for humankind. There is lot of news about deceased celebrities doing rounds on the internet. Since the last two and half months, the news about death has become a new normal being it common man dying due to COVID19, migrants dying of starvation or our beloved celebrities who said goodbye to this world without giving their fans a chance to get involved in their last visit to heaven.

Here is the list of 10 celebrities who said goodbye to this world during pandemic COVID19:

1. Irrfan Khan

Amidst the lockdown, on April 29, when the news came that Irfan Khan had left us, everyone thought it was a rumor. Irfan Khan, who was awarded the Padma Shri Award and counted among Bollywood’s most talented actors, was admitted to a hospital in Mumbai due to a Cologne infection where he breathed his last. Irrfan played memorable roles in films like ‘Maqbool’, ‘Life in a Metro’, ‘The Lunch Box’, ‘Piku’, ‘Hindi Medium’, ‘Haasil’, ‘Paan Singh Tomar’.

2. Rishi Kapoor

The shock of the death of Irrfan Khan did not even emerge that the next day Bollywood veteran Rishi Kapoor passed away. Rishi Kapoor, who is battling cancer, breathed his last at a private hospital in Mumbai on 30 April. Due to the lockdown, only family members were able to attend the funeral of Rishi Kapoor, who ruled the hearts of crores of people. Even her daughter could not see her last due to being in Delhi.

3. Sushant Singh Rajput

Sushant Singh Rajput, who made headlines through his acting in a very short time, committed suicide by hanging himself on Sunday. According to media reports, Sushant Singh’s servant reported his suicide to the police. It is being told that Sushant was in depression for the last about 6 months. The police, however, have not received any suicide note from her room and are investigating the case.

4. Preksha Mehta

Amidst the coronavirus epidemic, on 26 May, bad news related to the TV industry shocked everyone. Preksha Mehta, the actress of television’s famous show ‘Crime Patrol’, committed suicide by hanging herself from a fan in her house in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. It is being told that Preksha Mehta was in depression for a long time. The police also got a suicide note written by Praksha Mehta from her house.

5. Mohit Baghel

The film industry, which was going through a difficult phase, lost another artist on 23 May. Famous comedian and actor Mohit Baghel, who worked with Salman Khan in the film Ready, died at the age of 27. Mohit Baghel played the role of younger Amar Chaudhary in the film ‘Ready’. Mohit Baghel was suffering from cancer and breathed his last at his home in Mathura.

6. Jagesh Mukati

On June 10, another bad news came and TV actor Jagesh Mukati said goodbye to the world. Jagesh Mukati was hospitalized for the last several days due to shortness of breath and was put on a ventilator. Jagesh was one of the select theater artists of Gujarat and has acted in serials like ‘Amita Ka Amit’, ‘Shree Ganesh’. Jagesh has also appeared in the films ‘Hansi Toh Fansi’ and ‘PK’.

7. Manmeet Grewal

TV actor Manmeet Grewal, who has worked in the serial ‘Habit Se Se forced’ and ‘Kuldeepak’, committed suicide on May 15 at his home in Navi Mumbai. According to media reports, Manmeet Grewal did not have work for a long time due to the lockdown and he was facing financial problems. The body of 32-year-old Manmeet was found hanging from the fan in his bedroom.

8. Wajid Khan

On 31 May, veteran music director Wajid Khan left our company. After the death of Wajid Khan, he was said to have died due to corona virus infection, but his brother and partner Sajid Khan said that Wajid died due to cardiac arrest. Wajid Khan will always be remembered for songs like ‘Hud Hud Hood Dabangg’, ‘Jalwa’, ‘Chinta Ta-Ta Chita Chita’ and ‘Fevicol Se’.

9. Yogesh Gaur

Lyricist Yogesh Gaur, who wrote many evergreen songs for Hindi films, passed away on 29 May. Lucknow-born lyricist Yogesh wrote many of the finest songs in the 60s, 70s, and 80s, which are still liked today. Yogesh’s last big film was ‘Bewafa Sanam’. Memorable songs written by Yogesh Gaur include songs from the film Anand, ‘Kaheen Jab Din Din Dhal Jaaye’, ‘Jindagi Kaisi Hai Paheli’, Rajnigandha Phool Aapke.

10. Chiranjeevi Sarja

On June 7, the famous actor of Kannada films Chiranjeevi Sarja said goodbye to the world. Chiranjeevi, 39, was admitted to a hospital in Bengaluru after a heart attack, where he breathed his last. Chiranjeevi acted in more than 20 films. Chiranjeevi married Meghna Raj, the daughter of Premlila Joshi and Sundar Raj in 2018.
