The infamous Vikas Dubey, accused of the martyrdom of eight policemen in the Kanpur encounter has been arrested by the police from the Mahakal temple in Ujjain on Thursday.
It is reported that Vikas Dubey has done it in a planned way. He went to the Mahakal temple on Thursday and cut the slip, after which the temple security personnel arrested him. Vikas has also called the media in Ujjain after his arrest.
It is known that eight policemen, including the CO, were killed in the bloody struggle in Kanpur during the encounter of notorious criminal Vikas Dubey. The criminals surrounded the police force and rammed bullets and killed eight soldiers.
Since then, the police of several states including UP were pushing to arrest Vikas Dubey. In between, there were also reports of Vikas hiding in Delhi NCR, but he once again ran away by dodging the police. It may be known that Vikas Dubey was absconding since the brutal killing of eight policemen on 2 July. A reward of five lakh rupees was also announced on that. Along with this, the police were engaged in searching for him by putting posters in place.
He has given his arrest under the properly planned scheme at Ujjain Mahakal temple this morning. At first, he appeared in the line of worship like ordinary people. After that, suddenly shouted Vikas Dubey in the temple premises, after which the security guard posted in the temple premises caught him and informed the police. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the temple and arrested him and took him to the control room in Freeganj area.
