Controversy being the second name for BJP led government in Uttar Pradesh, not only for political issues but taking concern in other things too, such as cow protection and shutting down illegal slaughter houses. In the meanwhile, safety and security of the minor community people has not yet hit the area of concern.
As per reports, Taj Mahal, which is one among the Seven Wonders of the World, was out of the Yogi Adityanath led state government’s new tourism booklet. Taj Mahal was reportedly not included in Uttar Pradesh’s “cultural heritage” list as well.
This news had sparked controversy and successfully diverted the attention of media from students protesting in BHU to a new level.
However, post the controversy flake, Uttar Pradesh Tourism Minister Rita Bahuguna Joshi has rejected the earlier reports, which stated that Taj Mahal was excluded from the state government’s new tourism booklet.
Joshi told a news agency that, “You are wrong. You can clearly see and we also have the records that work worth 1.75 crore has been started and almost completed. Don’t make this a controversy,” Rita told ANI.
To cover up the issue, she further said that Taj Mahal has been the legacy of Uttar Pradesh and hence claiming that the government is ignoring it, is wrong.
Joshi said, “The work we did in the last six months, there are all the records of it.”
