Sadak sequel shoot begins: Alia says she is feeling petrified

Filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, who wore the hat of a film director last in 1999 with the film Kartoos, is set to make a comeback with the sequel of his 1991 release Sadak.

While ‘Sadak’ was a romantic thriller revolving around a taxi driver and a woman forced into prostitution, ‘Sadak 2’ is reportedly said to showcase Alia exposing a fake guru who runs an ashram. The film is slated to release on 10th July next year.

The screen test of all the cast has been conducted in Vishesh Film Studio and now all the cast and crew has reached Ooty for second schedule shoot of Kalank 2. Along with Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt, the Sadak 2 will feature Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapoor as lead actors.

Recently Alia Bhatt shared a post on Instagram and she wrote “Today is Day 1 of Sadak 2. And that’s my father, now also my director, holding the clap. 
I begin shooting in a few days and honestly, I’m petrified.”

“I feel like a tiny mouse trying to climb a beautiful, immense, emotional mountain. I hope I make it to the top and if I fall I hope I’m able to get up again. It’s a tough climb but from everything I’ve seen and everything I’ve heard, I know every single step and misstep will be worth it!

And what a journey it’s going to be!!!!”, she further added.
