Farmers and their families in Neendar village near Jaipur have been burying themselves in mud every day since October 2 (Gandhi Jayanti) to protest against land acquisition.
The protest has been going on for the last 17 days.

As per pictures tweeted by news agency ANI, farmers and their families bury themselves partially in pits to protest acquisition of their lands by the Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) for housing projects.

The leader of the protesters has said that the agitation would continue till their demands are met.
