In yet another major mess up in his live speeches, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi, today during the inauguration of the ‘Indira Canteens’ in Bengaluru, mistakenly revealed the blueprint of the concept. While stating that all poor people of Bengaluru will be benefited by the canteens named after his grandmother and former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi mistakenly took Amma (J Jayalalithaa)’s name. Moreover, the Congress VP further mistook Bengaluru as a state and asserted that people from every ‘city in Bengaluru’ will be helped by the canteens.
In a major slip of tongue, Gandhi said, “Soon over the next couple of months, every single city in Bangalore… every poor person in every single city in Bangalore will feel that in the state of Karnataka, under Siddaramaiah ji’s government, ‘I simply cannot go hungry’… that is the vision of the Amma…errrr…Indira Canteen.”
And as the Congress VP engaged himself in fresh controversies following his recent blunder, here is how Twitterati reacted:

Much before the launch of the Indira Canteens, late Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, J Jayalalithaa had introduced low cost eateries called the Amma canteens, following which the legendary AIADMK leader had been commonly considered in the state as the mother of millions.
