Prime Minister Narendra Modi Is Getting The Royal Treatment In Israel; Stays In “Most Secure Suite” In The Planet.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday evening landed in Tel Aviv, marking his 66th visit to a foreign country in the last three years. Not only was he greeted majestically by his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu, but the country has left no stone unturned to make Modi’s visit memorable and ‘safe’.

PM Modi, who has been put up in the iconic King David Hotel, is staying in the most secure suite in the planet, reports The Times of India.

“His suite is secured against bomb attacks, chemical attacks, everything,” Sheldon Ritz, director of operations in King David Hotel, told TOI.

Ritz, who is in charge of overseeing PM Modi’s visit said, “If the entire hotel is bombed, PM’s suite will be untouched, will come down in a pod.”

He further went on to say that a total of 110 rooms of the hotel were cleared to accommodate PM Modi and his entire delegation.

“We have hosted every US president in this century, from Clinton, Bush, Obama and, three weeks ago, Trump. And now we are hosting Mr Modi,” he added.

PM Modi’s vegan food habits have been taken into consideration, as the hotel ensured that the cookies in his suite are eggless and sugarless. In fact, the flowers are also kept in line with the likings of the Indian delegates.
In respect to Modi’s “vegan” food habits, the hotel made sure the cookies in his suite are eggless and sugarless. Even the flowers are what the Indian delegation wants.

PM Modi’s suite also has a kitchen and a list of customised ingredients for preparing Gujarati food.
“We got a list of food ingredients necessary to cook Indian food for the Prime Minister. The ingredients are all kosher because in this hotel all food has to be kosher,” he said.

In charge of cooking meals for the Indian PM is Rina Pushkarna, who is cooking dishes that are suitable for Modi.
“It’s all very spicy,” Ritz said, adding that the hotel has been filled with the aroma of spices these last few days.

Revealing the secret for King David Hotel’s top-class security, Ritz said the hotel is a part of Dan hotels, and one of the owners is Michael Federmann, who owns Ebit Systems – a drone and avionics manufacturing company. “We are the best,” he said with evident pride.
